Shello Roth is a hunter and former mercenary who operates in the outskirts of the free city of Erishe. He is the first person Jirou encounters in the new world and is pivotal in Jirou's early survival.

Rugged, loud, and big-hearted, he represents the seasoned veteran who has stepped away from conflict yet still carries the skills and presence of someone with a powerful past. He has recently resumed part of his old role as Jirou’s main combat instructor, offering a glimpse of the formidable fighter once known as the "Juggernaut".
Shello is a tall and imposing man, standing about 190 cm with a strong, athletic build. His features include brown hair, light brown eyes, and a short, rugged beard. He typically wears practical, fur-lined hunter’s clothing suited for the wilderness. For formal occasions, he owns a striking crimson frock coat uniform from his Scarlet Wedge days, giving him a sharply dignified and commanding appearance. Despite his age, he retains a youthful look through the use of spirit stones designed for rejuvenation.

Shello once served as the vice-leader of the renowned mercenary group "Scarlet Wedge", earning the moniker "Juggernaut" for his exceptional strength and resilience. He made extensive use of spirit stone enhancements during his career. After the passing of his respected leader Isaac, the group disbanded. Shello and his daughter chose a quiet life in Erishe, where he took up hunting and local patrol duties.
His meeting with Jirou, which he considers fated through the Guidance of Le Baraka, pulled him partly out of retirement. He now takes on the role of mentor, offering Jirou structured training and guidance.
