Aruji-dono (主どの) - A respectful form of address meaning “my lord” or “my master.” It is used by a subordinate, retainer, or servant to address the person they serve, and carries a formal, old-fashioned tone commonly seen in historical, samurai, or fantasy settings. Compared to simply 主, this form explicitly frames the speaker–listener relationship as one of deference and loyalty.
