Closing my laptop, I look over at Diana and Marina, who are sleeping soundly on the futon spread across the floor of my cramped room.

The wedding photo I uploaded today featured Diana and Marina in their wedding dresses. It was just one shot out of many I'd taken, showing only the two of them. Posting the 'real' wedding photo—the one with every single one of my wives in it—would be a little... well, incredibly embarrassing.

...I mean, it's way beyond just bigamy. I never imagined I'd end up marrying all of them.

With that, my responsibilities have grown, too.

After the Hitotsuzuki ended and we were shut in by the winter snow, the conversation somehow turned into "who will be the first to carry my child?"

As a result, both Marina and Diana successfully became pregnant.

They're both in their final month now, and it looks like Marina will likely reach her due date first.

"A lot has happened, but it's gone by in a flash, huh..."

I gently stroke Diana and Marina's large, swollen bellies. Their stomachs are stretched tight, making me marvel at the mysteries of the human body.

I've heard that childbirth is incredibly painful and difficult; I'm worried about Diana especially—Marina's tough, but Diana... I'm definitely staying by their side, but maybe I should have Priestess-chan cast some pain-relief magic just in case.

A guy like me, who had no job and no girlfriend, is going to be a father next month. And to two children at once, no less. It feels like a lie.

Once the kids are born, I'll have a mountain of problems to deal with: whether to get them Japanese citizenship, which world to name them after, what to do about school, and so on.

It would be easier to just raise them entirely as denizens of the otherworld, but I want to keep that as a last resort. After all, the Great Spirit went to the trouble of making it so we could travel between both worlds.

Tomorrow, I'm meeting with Mugen-san to discuss those very things.

According to him, as long as they are my children, obtaining citizenship shouldn't be too difficult, regardless of who the mother is. I'm planning to think over whether I should use some "tricks" to get citizenship for my wives as well.

As expected of an otherworld veteran, Mugen-san is well-versed in the legal side of things; I'm constantly in his debt.

Diana and Marina are sleeping side-by-side, leaving a space just big enough for me in the middle, but I feel a bit hesitant to climb in there tonight. Not that I'm in the mood for that anyway—and it's not just because Shamash wore me out earlier. It's mostly because Diana and Marina are both heavily pregnant.

I lie down quietly next to Diana. The futon is large, so it doesn't feel cramped at all.

I whisper to the sleeping pair and close my eyes.

From tomorrow onward, and for the rest of my life, there is still so much to do.
