Side: Seraria

I was experiencing something for the very first time in my life.

I'd fought countless monsters and charged through countless battlefields...

Yet what I was feeling now was more terrifying than any of those.

"Ugh...! Uuuuugh...!!"

The voice echoing right now is coming from me.

I never imagined that the pain of giving birth would make me let out a voice like this.

I've had my arms and legs cut, and my bones broken in battle, but this is a completely different kind of pain and terror.

"Don't push yet! Breathe! Hee, hee, hoo! Just like your husband's knowledge taught! That's it! Keep going!"

"Chii-anesama, please hang in there!! Rurua-sama too!!"

Right now, the delivery room is filled with people who have experience assisting with childbirth, led by Grandmother and supported by Elju, Milly, and Kaya.

My husband really has gathered excellent people...

While cold sweat beads on my forehead, I somehow manage to look around at everyone. On the other side of the glass, the pregnant members should be watching, but I don't have the composure to check.

The fear of whether I can truly give birth to my husband's child.

Pain I have never experienced before.

I wonder if Rurua beside me feels the same way.

"Ugh...! Danna-samaaaa!!!"

Rurua's voice was practically a scream.

"Rurua-sama, please calm down. Yuki-san made it to this hospital safely. He even brought you all the way here just a moment ago, didn't he?"

"Y-Yes... but... ugh!!"

Rurua still seems to have enough composure to reply.

Luna...

Lilishe-sama...

Is this really a safe childbirth!?

"Seraria-chan, keep your consciousness clear!! Hee, hee, hoo!!"

"Ah... I know!!"

Hearing Grandma's voice, I realize my mind was about to drift away.

Seriously, I never knew giving birth was this difficult.

But I will absolutely give birth to my husband's child!!

"Huff, huff... hnnnngg!!"

Still... I think I'll pass on a second child for a while.

I want to enjoy more lovey-dovey time with my husband first.

Grandma really is amazing.

...To have given birth three times.

"Just like that, Seraria-chan! I can see the baby's head!"

I can't afford to lose to Grandmother.

...Let's do this, shall we?!

Even I can manage to give birth to the child of my beloved husband!!

Side: Jessica

I am watching the situation in the delivery room along with everyone else.

However, this is far beyond my imagination.

"For Seraria-sama's face to distort in that much agony..."

"Un... Giving birth really is tough, huh."

Beside me, Ria is watching Seraria-sama with a complicated expression.

I'm probably making a similar face.

Because I've never seen Seraria-sama, the war princess, contort her face in such pain... That's how difficult childbirth must be.

"...Hmm. I-I think I'll hold off on having children for a while."

"Riel..."

"I can't help it! Just look at Seraria and Rurua's faces!! It's way worse than I expected!!"

Watching the two give birth, Riel is drawing back slightly.

Tori is criticizing Riel for that, but I couldn't really blame her.

"Killue doesn't seem very shaken."

"Of course not. The same goes for you, Ratz-san, correct?"

"Well, it is Onii-san's child. The fruit of love, you know? Something like this is nothing."

"Exactly."

"...You two are truly resilient, aren't you?"

Despite being pregnant themselves, Ratz and Killue never once looked away from the delivery room.

As Sheila-sama said, their composure was extraordinary.

As for the rest of the pregnant women...

"There, there. It'll be alright, okay?"

"It is terrifying... I did not know that childbirth was such a painful thing. Did my Dear Mother give birth to me in that manner..."

"Derieu, you'll be giving birth soon yourself."

"Eeeeeek!? I know it's Yuki's child, but still..."

"Sigh, why is a Demon King cowering this much?"

"It cannot be helped!! Even I have things that I am afraid of!!"

...What is this, I wonder.

Since coming to Weed, the common sense inside me has truly crumbled to pieces.

To think the day would come when I would see a Demon King looking so frail and weak...

Well, the Hero is also right next to me, though.

By the way, Aslin and Filia seem to have fallen asleep and are lying next to Yuki.

...

Hmph.

It's not like I'm jealous or anything.

"Hey, Jessica."

"Huh!? What is it, Ria!? Has the baby been born!?"

"No, not yet. But childbirth really takes a long time, doesn't it? It's already been about an hour."

Indeed, it has already been over an hour since Seraria-sama and Rurua-sama entered the delivery room.

"It seems so. But I didn't expect waiting would be this nerve-wracking."

"I never imagined each second would feel so long."

"Yeah. But let's stay and watch until the end."

"Yes."

Ria and I turn our gazes back to Seraria-sama and Rurua-sama's birth.

It was the right decision to let Yuki sleep.

If he were awake, I can clearly imagine him panicking and making a huge fuss right now.

Side: Yuki

"Mmm... Seraria... Rurua..."

"Onii-chan's so warm..."

"Anii-sama..."

"Fufu, this way, even if he wakes up, he won't make a fuss since the two of them are right here."
